Continuing Your Education - at Home!

Updated: Nov 11, 2020

We know that spending a lot of time at home can sometimes feel, for lack of better words, monotonous? It can be increasingly more difficult when you don’t have a designated time to get up, go to work, etc. Normal doesn’t seem to exist right now - and that doesn’t have to be seen as wholly negative.

That idea of "if you had all the time in the world to read books or learn, what would you do with it?" seems to ring quite relevant right now. For all of us, surely there has always been a skill, a certification, or a subject matter that has intrigued you. Now, is as good a time - maybe even the BEST time - as any, to run with It!

In the midst of so many people in the food and beverage industry finding themselves without jobs for the time being, this could also be a great time to look at learning a new skill to add to your repertoire or resume. This new skill could, in turn, help create an income for you and your family. You never know until you try, right? So why not try now?

The Proof team has been working to compile a list of options for continuing your education. There are a LOT out there, but these options offer free classes, or at least a free month’s trial period. These are sure to help you make the most of your time at home - and you’ll feel good about yourself in the process. You’re turning your time into productivity!

We suggest finding a course or class and treating it as a job - meaning you have to spend a certain amount of time on it, daily. I guarantee you will find a newfound excitement and purpose in your undertaking (and schedule!). Worst case scenario? You learn something. Best case scenario? It leads to a source of income that you find you can do remotely. So dive in!
